Private Pilates

We offer 50 minute private Pilates sessions on the mat, jump board, and the reformer tailored specifically to your needs. Using the core tenets of Joseph Pilates we will work to both lengthen and strengthen your body. These workouts are comprised of many contemporary Pilates movements mixed with some newer flows.

Pilates Duets

$75 per person

Love Pilates, but don't want to do it alone? At Kaia Pilates we offer duet sessions on both the mat, jump board, and reformer. These sessions are great for building technique and form while getting a great workout in with a friend. Using the core tenets of Joseph Pilates we will work to both lengthen and strengthen your body. These workouts are comprised of many contemporary Pilates movements mixed with some newer flows.

Group Reformer Pilates

$35 per person

Come try our group Pilates classes on the Reformer! If you love to workout in a group setting, this class is perfect for you. We offer Beginner and Advanced Pilates classes at various times throughout the day. The classes will start December 14th, and will be open every day except Thursdays! Packages available now!

Pelvic Floor Pilates

$30

Are you curious to know more about your pelvic floor and how it can help you strengthen your body? In this class you will learn how to engage and better strengthen the muscles of your pelvic floor. This 50 minute mat Pilates class will incorporate core work, pelvic floor stability, mobility and lengthening of the hips and spine, centering, breath work, and coordination.

Hot Pilates

$30 per person

We offer Hot Pilates mat classes at Coastal Run Maine just across the street! If you love working out in a group class setting and are looking for a workout to both lengthen and strengthen your muscles while also getting your sweat on, this is perfect for you! All you need is a yoga mat.

Kaia Becker

Founder of Kaia Pilates

Kaia was first introduced to Pilates in college. As a Division I collegiate Pole Vaulter, she has dealt with many injuries, including breaking her back twice. Kaia discovered the many benefits of doing Pilates, including how it strengthened and lengthened all of her muscles, to both better her physically and to prevent further, or new, injuries.

After Kaia graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelors Degree in Early American History and a minor in Special Topics in Healthcare and Medicine, she moved to South Carolina. Once there, Kaia started to use Pilates as cross training for surfing and rediscovered her passion for Pilates. Wanting to share her love of Pilates with others and advance her own knowledge, she enrolled in the Ab & Flow Pilates Training Program. This was a comprehensive 500+ hour certification in the Reformer, Tower, Mat, Chair, Barrel, Cadillac, and Spine Corrector. The certification also covered pregnancy and how to safely work with clients with back injuries. During the course of the program, Kaia intensified her love of Pilates and for teaching. Upon receiving her certification she began teaching full time at Ab & Flow, as well as teaching online mat classes privately.

Recently Kaia moved to Scarborough, Maine with her boyfriend, Nate, and Australian Shepherd puppy, Wonky! When she’s not teaching Pilates you can find Kaia hiking, surfing, or exploring the beaches. She is excited to share her knowledge of Pilates with all of her clients! Kaia wants to leave her clients feeling stronger, happier, and more confident in their abilities.
